“We loved this cozy spot! As soon as we got to the cabin, their sweet dog greeted us with love! :) Great hospitality from Christy (attentive to any needs) and her husband got us set up immediately with the fire pit, plus they had a little bit of heat going inside the cabin. They made sure we were comfy, as we stayed on a very cold couple of nights (we brought a little heater and nice warm sleeping bags+blankets.) Cabin came with some heaters, but make sure to do some extra preparing for cold nights. (We brought a blow up mattress and some heavy duty warm sleeping bags and put a couple extra blankets in the sleeping bags to do the trick.)
Fire pit was great (came w chairs), firewood provided, and all of our basic needs at a great price. Outhouse available on the property. This is good for an escape and a good camping experience. Would love to come back.
***Bonus: We saw some shooting stars - view is amazing at night. And some turkeys came through the trails on our last day! Oh, and their dog came and told us bye when we were leaving and we started to tear up a little! 💛”

🌄✨ Wow, what an amazing getaway! HIGHLY recommend coming during the daytime, because the scenery is absolutely breathtaking—you don’t want to miss those views! 😍 The cabin has the perfect blend of comfort and rustic vibes—just what you want for a camping (or glamping!) adventure. 🏕️🪵 Cozy and charming! The hosts were wonderful—greeted me with smiles and immediately lit up the fire 🔥, making me feel right at home. And let’s talk about their two dogs! 🐶💕 The big one (I wish I remembered her name!) was SO sweet and snuggly, even hopped up on the rocking chair for some cuddles. Everything here is a breeze—super easy to find and use, including the outdoor toilet 🚽 (which is a plus when camping!). Make sure you wake up early to catch the sunrise 🌅 over the mountains… it’s seriously stunning.
All in all, I had a fantastic stay! I’m already planning my next visit and will definitely be spreading the word about this gem. 10/10, would glamp again! ⭐️🏞️🥰. —— Aaron & Sarah S.

My little family and I loved Christy’s lil Cabin in the mountains so cozy and warm even in late October, we enjoyed the fire pit and loved the proximity of the outhouse. This lil cabin was home away from home. Christy and Rick were awesome hosts and even set up a bonfire for us. We loved it and made many memories here! —Ivy

Christy and her Husband where awesome host! The land around their land and the cabin is so beautiful! I really enjoyed my stay since the cabin is surrounded by woods and it was nice there with only the sounds of nature and it being pitch dark at night. While I am a fan of camping it was a very nice stay to have electricity and be able to sit at a table when not sleeping in my hammock. Also the cabin is actually pretty big, it feels much bigger than it looks online. I really enjoyed my stay here and I definitely would consider coming back for a few days and exploring kanuga and the other forrest and parks around the Asheville area! —Alex B
